LIMA, Peru - On December 8, 2025, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, the Parish of the Visitation of Our Lady was prepared for the renewal of religious vows of three young brothers: Francisco Ronaldo Vado DÍAZ, Janier Omar García MURILLO, and Luis Antonio Ramos ÁLVAREZ, from Nicaragua.
The Eucharist was presided over by Father José Ángel HULCAHUANCA PARIATON, SMM, Superior of the General Delegation of Peru-Brazil. The young brothers and the Montfortian Fathers—Luis SALVADOR, Henry ESPINOSA, Carlos HUDTWALCKER, and José MIZZOTTI—participated in the celebration. Accompanied by Montfortian lay people, Missionaries of Mary, and lay people from the Parish of the Visitation, the junior brothers celebrated the renewal of their religious vows, entrusting their vocation to the Virgin Mary and thanking her for their devotion and creative fidelity.
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary holds particular significance for the confreres in Nicaragua, as she is the patron saint of their country. In his homily Father José Ángel HULCAHUANCA invited everyone to meditate on the meaning of renewal in life. He also explained the importance of the vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience today, and finally, he exhorted them to persevere in their scholasticate and to live in harmony with different cultures. This renewal is a sign of hope for the Montfortian Missionaries in Latin America.
