QUEZON CITY, Philippines - On April 9, 2018, the SMM Philippine Delegation in the presence of the Superior General, Rev. Fr. Luis Augusto Stefani SMM with his assistant, Rev. Fr. Rosario Menezes SMM, and the lay faithful gathered together in celebrating the Solemnity of the Incarnation and the Rite of Erection of the Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts-Philippines. It was held at the Montfort Center of Spirituality, Scout Madriñan, Quezon City.
The activity started with a registration of the guests and participants followed by the Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Rozario Meneses, SMM. The highlight of this celebration was the official declaration of the erection of the Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts, wherein Fr. Federick Yumang, SMM was installed as the National Director.
In line with this solemn occasion was the enrollment of twenty-two (22) lay faithful, dressed in white and moved with conviction saying the words, “Lord you have called me, here I am”, freely submitting themselves before the Lord as official members of the Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts in the Philippines.
The Eucharistic celebration was followed by a talk about Mary given by the assistant Superior General, Fr. Rozario Menezes, SMM, and lunch thereafter.
May the consecration of the lay associates remind us on the Fiat of Mary in the mystery of Incarnation, “I am a lowly handmaid of the Lord, may it be done unto me according to your word.”
