CEBU, Philippines – On April 29, 2018, eleven participants successfully completed the 33-day preparation for the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary and had their consecration at the Montfort Mission House. They comprised the TTJ Batch 15 in Cebu. The group gathers at the Montfort Mission House in Minglanilla, Cebu for 33 Sundays.
The Holy Eucharist was presided by Rev. Fr. Richard J. Magararu, SMM, Delegation Superior and with concelebrants, Rev. Fr. Sherwin Y. Nunez, SMM, and Rev. Fr. Rene S. Bustillo, SMM. In his homily, Fr. Richard emphasized the real duties and responsibilities of a consecrated person. He also motivated the 11 candidates to live out their consecration which they just have made and reminded them that it is only the beginning and not the end of the journey.
At the same time, the members of other TTJ Batches who were present made the renewal of their consecration. After the Mass, a short program was held followed by a simple lunch which was shared by everyone. It was indeed a meaningful journey for all the participants towards a committed Christian life as they live out the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary.
Prior to the Consecration Day, the candidates held a Recollection which was facilitated by Rev. Fr. Rene S. Bustillo, SMM. It was held at Schoenstatt Shrine, Talisay City, Cebu on April 28, 2018.
Glory to Jesus in Mary! Glory to God Alone!
