Today's agenda is not going according to plan, but according to new developments that have arisen along the way. But let's go in order.
Fr. Dwi opens the session with a festive announcement: Fr. Bill CONSIDINE, former Superior General, celebrates today the 50th anniversary of his priestly ordination. Best wishes!
Fr. Jean Claude then invites us to vote on the proposals prepared by the presidency committee on the topics discussed yesterday. In particular, the foundation in Vietnam and the office in the General Curia to assist the protection of minors and the vulnerable. Then, at Fr. Dwi's request, the capitulants from Europe meet with him for more than an hour: he wants to meet them and listen to them. It will be the same for the capitulants of the other continents, so whoever is not concerned remains free.
The same thing happens in the afternoon: Fr. Dwi first meets the capitulars from Africa and Madagascar, then from the Americas and the Caribbean. For everyone else, free time. We meet again for the Eucharist at 7:00 p.m. I forgot to mention that an excellent cake and champagne accompanied Fr. Bill's party.
