The morning opens with the visit of Fr. Pier Luigi NAVA, SMM Italian currently under-secretary of the Dicastery of Consecrated Life. With his very lively speech, he offers us orientations for our congregational journey in fidelity to the Church and to our mission in the challenges of today.
Then we are inundated with figures, graphs, statistics, and so on as the general bursar presents the financial situation of the congregation and of the entities. Flooded also by the "abundant" rain that God pours on Rome these days... but in the middle of the rain, we see Fr. Santino BREMBILLA, SMM who joins us after having lived a memorable day yesterday at the Calvary of Pontchâteau with the inter-diocesan pilgrimage to ask the Lord for the gift of vocations.
There is no lack of vocations in Africa and Madagascar, as the superiors of the Anglophone and Francophone delegations and of the Malagasy Vice Province assure us and bear witness to it. They introduce us to their very lively and interesting entities.
The day ends with the Eucharistic celebration presided and animated by the Province of Colombia. At 9:00 p.m. we also participate in the Rosarium-Montfort-EurHope by zoom.
