VROENHOF, Netherlands - On April 28, we celebrated the feast of Saint Montfort in the community of Vroenhof. This year's feast was a little different because of the arrival of Fr. Sintus DEPA, SMM. Besides Fr. Charles LETA, SMM and myself, he is the 3rd young Montfortian from Indonesia in the Netherlands. Fr. Wim PEETERS, SMM is currently in the Netherlands on holiday and was therefore also able to attend the celebration in Vroenhof. Also present were Sr. Petronilla Groot, fdls and the staff of our two communities (Vroenhof and Schimmert). Their presence really gave a different colour and atmosphere to the feast...

SORØ, Denmark - Celebration of the 350th anniversary of Montfort's birth took place in Denmark in the house of the Association Mary Queen of all Hearts: “Maison Montfort” in Sorø, the evening before the 31 January. Guests included two Redemptorist-Fathers and a Dominican Friar.

NETHERLANDS - On March 24, Fr. Marco PASINATO, SMM, assistant of Superior General Fr. Luiz Augusto STEFANI, SMM, announced to the Superior of the Dutch Province, Fr. Peter DENNEMAN, SMM, that on behalf of the General Council, he intended to travel to the Netherlands for a visitation. It was agreed that this would start on April 7, immediately after the BDNL missionaries meeting in Marienheide, Germany. Fr. Marco is responsible for the visitation of all entities in Europe during this mandate of the General Council. He indicated that he would like to have conversations with all confreres personally, including the confreres who live independently, and then have a joint community meeting. MARIENHEIDE, Germany - From April 4 to 6, 2022, after being postponed several times due to Covid-19 measures, a follow-up meeting of the young missionaries from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands (BDNL) finally took place. This time in the monastery in Marienheide, Germany. SCHIMMERT, Netherlands - After the Requiem celebration on Saturday, November 6, 2021, four new menhirs were blessed at the monastery cemetery 'Op de Bies' in Schimmert by Father Peter Denneman, SMM.
