ROME, Italy - On the fourth day of FIM 2026, Sr. Marie Reine DW continued her enlightening sessions on The Love of Eternal Wisdom. Building upon the previous day’s reflections, she introduced the participants to the “Seven Pillars of Wisdom” and highlighted how these foundational elements are beautifully hidden within the spiritual richness of St. Montfort’s work.

Her presentations helped the participants discover the depth, beauty, and transformative power of Divine Wisdom as understood by Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort. She also elaborated on the distinction between true wisdom and false wisdom according to Montfortian spirituality. The participants reflected on how worldly wisdom often seeks pride, power, pleasure, and self-sufficiency, whereas true wisdom leads to humility, simplicity, charity, and union with Christ.

To deepen the learning experience, Sr. Marie Reine once again organized group discussions and invited the participants to identify the manifestations of false wisdom in today’s world. The groups actively engaged in reflection and later presented the results of their discussions to the class. The sharing revealed both the challenges of the modern world and the continuing relevance of Montfort’s teachings in contemporary society.

Meanwhile the day that followed was dedicated to a deeply enriching pilgrimage through Rome, the Eternal City. Inspired by the theme “In the Footsteps of Montfort in Rome,” the participants prayerfully visited several sacred places associated with the stay of Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort in Rome. Among the places visited were San Luigi de Francese, San Biagio della Pagnotta, Sant’Andrea della Valle, and the majestic St. Peter’s Basilica.

The pilgrimage was both spiritually intense and historically meaningful. Walking through the same streets and praying in the same churches where St. Montfort once prayed and discerned his mission deeply moved the participants. The atmosphere throughout the day was marked by prayer, enthusiasm, fraternity, and gratitude. For many participants, especially those visiting Rome for the first time, it became an unforgettable experience of encountering the living heritage of Montfortian spirituality.
