Inauguration of Saint Anthony chapel

ANDRA PRADESH, India – Following the completion of the new chapel dedicated to St. Anthony in Kothuru village of Shanthiagar tribal parish in India, the parish priest and parishioners organized the blessing and inauguration celebration on 7th June 2025.
Bishop Rayarala Vijay KUMAR, PIME of Srikakulam blessed the chapel along with 10 co-celebrants. The faithful of the village laboured tirelessly and demonstrated persistent faith in building the chapel. Their hard work and devotion are a testament to their love for God and zeal to enhance their spiritual life.
We extend our sincere thanks to Fr. Hermann Josef JǛNEMANN, SMM; Mission works, Montfort Missionaries, Germany (in-charge of the association), for his generous support in making this chapel a reality. His kindness and dedication to our community have been instrumental in bringing this project to life. We are grateful and indebted for his unconditional support and contribution.
We also offer special thanks to the General Administration for granting aid towards the construction of the chapel. Their support has been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition, and we appreciate their commitment to our mission’s spiritual growth. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Balaswamy KATA, SMM the General bursar, for doing all the needful in sending the donation.
