TAMATAVE, Madagascar - Tuesday, May 5, 2026, will remain a memorable date in the life of our brother, Father Dr. Clément (Naina) RAANDRINIAINA, SMM, currently director of the scholasticate for his doctoral thesis defense.
After several years of sacrifice, perseverance, and intellectual commitment, he brilliantly defended his doctoral thesis in philosophy at the University of Tamatave, Madagascar, earning the distinction of "Très Honorable avec Congratulations des Jury" (Very Honourable with the Jury's Congratulations).
His research, entitled "The Pre-eminence of Being and Human Dignity tested by the domination of having: A Reflection Based on the thought of Gabriel Marcel," is the culmination of an exemplary journey founded on hard work, discipline, and determination. It also testifies to the capacity of our youth to pursue excellence while remaining committed to the service of the Church and the Congregation. Through this brilliant achievement, our brother brings honour to our congregation, his family, and his loved ones.
Father Jean Joël RANDRIANARIVOMANANA, SMM, Provincial Superior of the Vice-Province, extends his warmest congratulations and expresses his great appreciation.
Congratulations, Doctor!
May this new chapter pave the way for greater responsibilities and even more success in the service of our Congregation.
Father Joseph Victor RATAFITANIAINA, SMM
