RDC: Celebration of the Feast of the Annunciation in the Montfort Family in Democratic Republic of Congo
The father superior Jean Trésor Bafengo of the formation community ‘Deo Soli’ organized a ‘tridum’ (three day) of prayers and teachings on Mary with all the Christians of the Kisangani town in the form of a popular mission in the afternoon from March 22 to March 24 ending with a mass at the parish of the blessed Anuarite.
Saturday, March 22 : ‘the Yes of Mary’. Luke 1, 26-36 by Father Jean Trésor Bafengo, smm. Salvation came to the world through this yes and we will have the joy of celebrating the light of Easter.

Monday, March 24 : ‘Keep listening with Mary’ by Father Jean Claude Bafengo, priest of the Isangi diocese. This preacher distinguished between hearing and listening. Listening is more profound than hearing. Following Mary’s example it is important to take time to listen. But how to do this? It is being in internal and external prayer and silence
Tuesday, March 25 2014 : solemn mass in the afternoon in the parish followed by a two hours and two kilometres torchlight procession through the town of Kisangani. Christians were very happy with these three days of prayer and ask the Montfort missionaries to continue with this happy event helping them to understand the Montfort spirituality.
