Report of Father Dwi’s Visit

MONTREAL, Canada - As part of his visit to the Canadian province in November 2024, Father Yoseph Putra Dwi Darma WATUN, SMM, Superior General of the congregation, came to meet with the associates of the Mary Queen of Hearts Shrine on Saturday, November 9, 2024. We welcomed him with great joy and expressed our gratitude for his presence among us.

After introducing himself, he wished to get to know each of us. He attentively listened as each associate shared about themselves, their involvement at the Shrine, and their journey in the spirituality of Father de Montfort.

Referring to the theme of the 2025 Jubilee: Pilgrims of Hope, he reminded us that, as associates, we are called to become witnesses of Hope, signs of Hope in our surroundings, just as Father de Montfort was. He also quoted Hymn 7: The Strength of Hope.

He then shared news from the international community and answered our questions. We felt supported and encouraged by his receptiveness and kind attention.

Indeed, it was a warm, joyful, and friendly gathering that we will cherish in our memories. We assured him of our prayers and wished him well in his mission as Superior General.
