The blessing and inauguration of the Divine Mercy Chapel in India
[FR]
ANDRA PRADESH, India - The blessing and inauguration of the Divine Mercy Chapel at Nimmamanaguda village is a joyous occasion that celebrates the community's faith and dedication.
This new place of worship will undoubtedly bring spiritual nourishment and comfort to the tribal people, strengthening their bond with God and with one another. The new chapel is blessed by Rev. Fr. Charles PERAM and Rev. Fr. Esak SMM the Mission in charge of the vice-province, India. For years the faithful of this tribal village had been walking 3 Kilometers to a nearby church to attend Sunday Mass and other prayer services. Recognizing the community's dedication and perseverance, the construction of the Divine Mercy Chapel was undertaken to provide a convenient and accessible place of worship.
The chapel's establishment marks a significant milestone in the community's spiritual journey, providing a sacred space for worship, reflection, and community bonding. It is by God’s grace that the faithful of the village had put in a tremendous hard-work and dedication to realise their dream of having a chapel in their own village. Thanks to all the donors who generously contributed for the completion of the construction.
