To tell all that Fr. Angelo VITALI, SMM, made us relive with his testimony of commitment to the poor, young drug addicts, AIDS patients and in prisons, is impossible. This demand from young people: "tell us about death" which killed our colleague all night, will destroy us too! Likewise, the video-testimony of Br. Antonius VAN NOYE, SMM, from Brazil. Two punches in the stomach that do not prevent us from discovering with joy how much attention to the poor, like Montfort, is not lacking.
At 11.30 a.m., the presentations of the entities resumed. Canada, USA/Nicaragua and Peru-Brazil: entities which, while suffering from the decrease in the number of Missionaries, do not hesitate to take risks due to the very complicated socio-political situation. The description of the situation in Nicaragua is moving. The confreres also had to give up their presence at the chapter because of the current situation.
In the afternoon, after Ecuador, Colombia and Haiti, which raised many questions, we cross the oceans to India, which this year commemorates the 50th anniversary of its foundation, Indonesia, Papua -New Guinea and finally the Philippines: they have in common the young age of the members, the vivacity and imagination of their presence and above all the attention to Montfortian spirituality and to the formation of Associates.
