we give you thanks for having raised up among us
this lover of your Son, Eternal Wisdom,
this sower of the Gospel, the source of true joy,
this son of Mary, whom he made his companion

this friend of the poor whom he served and honored.
We ask you:
Enflame in our hearts
his burning desire for Wisdom.
Lead us on the roads of this world
to share the Good News.
Make us friends of the poor,
wanting to share their life and their hopes.
Let the Montfortian Family
have the boldness to let itself be carried
by the great wind of the Spirit
along paths that are new.
