Consecrated Montfortians of Lima invited for a recollection
LIMA, Peru - On Sunday, January 14, the meeting of the Consecrated Montfortians of Lima took place at the ND sisters of « Bon Conseil ». The day with the theme “With Mary I live my consecration in the Church” is part of a on-going formation program for different groups who make the Montfortian consecration their link.
Among the participants, apart from the Montfortian associates, there were members of the "Consecratio Mundi", two members of the "Missionaries of Mary" institute, the Legion of Mary, members of other lay movements of Latin America.
Facilitator of the day, Fr. Luis SALVADOR, SMM who coordinates the groups of Montfortian associates in Peru, was surrounded by a team who took care of logistics and the sale of Montfortian books.
After a prayerful introduction and a word of welcome from Fr. Carlos HUDTWALCKER, SMM, Fr. Marco PASINATO, SMM, as the first speaker presented the vocation and the baptismal mission in the language of Father de Montfort. The second speaker, Fr. Jesus CUCHO SMM, gave points of reference on how to live the Montfortian consecration.
The day was attended by a good number of confreres, especially the Superior General who greeted and encouraged the participants with a short word, translated by Fr. Jesu DASS, SMM. Fr. José-Angel, Superior of the entity provided information on the congregation's website and guided the act of renovation of the Montfortian consecration.
The Eucharist presided over by Fr. Jesus as general responsible of the spirituality commission closed a lively day rich in reflection, fraternity and sharing.
