Silver Jubilee and Blessing of renovated church in India

TAMILNADU, India - Ponnusangampatty is one of the substations of Puthanatham Parish which consists of 10 catholic families. It was an abandoned substation until Montfortians entered. Nonetheless, the substation too was blessed with the privilege of commemorating its 25 years and the renovated chapel. The Jubilee spiritual preparation began with Triduum with the spirited cooperation of the Rosary boys and all the faithful.
The renovated church was inaugurated on 19th January 2023 by Fr. Sebastinraj SMM and Fr. Francis BULIPE SMM, Blessed by Fr. Philip AROCKIYARAJ SMM in the presence of Fr. Amalraj (Madhi) SMM along with the Parishoners. The Holy Eucharist was solemnized by Fr. Amalraj SMM on his 12th Sacerdotal Anniversary and Fr. Sebastinraj SMM preached and motivated the people to love Mother Mary like St. Montfort and St. Alphonsus Ligory in faith, love and charity.
The blessed occasion ended with the felicitation for all the priests and a festive meal was served for all. It was a witnessing moment for us where our Hindu brothers too graced this occasion by offering candles to Mother Mary as a sign of union and communion with our People and admiring our celebrations and faith. And this is where I would joyously trace to end my sharing with St. John “No one has ever seen God, if we love one another, God abides in us and how love is perfected in us.” 1Jn 4:12.
