Let us meditate on the Word as spoken by God, Jesus and Mary, in the Mysteries of Light.

The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan: A voice from heaven said: “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased” (Mt 3:17).

The Miracle at Cana: The mother of Jesus said to the servants: “Do whatever he tells you” (Jn 2:5).

The Proclamation of the Kingdom: Jesus said: “Strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the other things will be given to you as well” (Mt 6:13).

The Transfiguration: From the cloud came a voice that said: “This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him” (Lk 9:35).

The Institution of the Eucharist: Jesus took a loaf of bread, broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying: “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this is in remembrance of me”. And he did the same with the cup after supper, saying: “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” (Lk 22:19-20).

Lord, your word is firmly fixed in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast. By your appointment all things stand today, for they are your servants. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. I am yours; save me, for I have sought your precepts. […] Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end. […] Your decrees are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them.
