The Provincial and Council have approved the report of the Commission for tercentenary celebration in the Province. Each community has to organize the celebration. The following action plans have been approved for the celebration:
•Every community/institution will have a day of celebration. Nearby communities can join together for the celebration. Wherever possible the celebration can be at the parish level (Noatoli, Nawatanr, Lachragarh, MTC, Sitagarha etc.).
•The celebration will be incorporated with the Annual Day celebration in the school in a creative way depicting life and mission of Montfort. To organize different competitions and activities in the institutions and to commemorate this event Bro. Sylvester Bara, Bro. Mike and Bro. Sudhakar Reddy will be the in-charge.
•One day/Half day seminar or talks be conducted for the school staff based on life, charism and mission of St. Montfort.
•The school library will obtain as many books as possible on writing of St. Montfort.
•All the Brothers of the Province will give a short write-up about their experiences of life as a Brother which will be compiled together as a souvenir. Bro. Johnson, Bro. Herman Bijay Lakra and Bro. Alphonse Toppo will do the necessary things to bring out the souvenir.
•There will be one day get-together of all the Brothers comprising of recollection, sharing and Eucharistic celebration.
•One annual retreat will be organized for the Brothers based on Montfort’s life.
•Construction of Grotto is encouraged, especially wherever there are candidates and wherever there is a hostel for the school children to enhance the Marian devotion.
