Tercentenary Celebrations of the death of Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort in Italy
The appointed commission for the tercentenary in Italy proposes to highlight Montfort’s topical message and spiritual richness, in our real life with those who walk with us, in our pastoral mission.
Some points of the schedule:
- Opening ceremony of the Tercentenary on 13th June, 2015 in the Church of St. Louis of France in Rome. The Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Cardinal Angelo Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
- Closing Ceremony of the Tercentenary will be on 18th September, 2016 at Loreto.
- From 11th to 16th September, 2015: spiritual exercises.
- Summer of 2016: Pilgrimage of people of God with Montfort, from Rome to Loreto.
- Publications on the occasion of the Tercentenary celebrations.
- A film presenting our Montfortian family: Consecrated and Lay People
- A short biography on Montfort and Maria Louise Trichet.
- A book titled: 365 days with Montfort.
- A recital on Montfort. Distribution of materials (texts and songs).
To be present in World Youth Days in Krakow, Poland in 2016 in order to spread Montfort’s spirituality in relation with Saint John Paul II.
