DELEGATION OF PORTUGAL: Perpetual Profession and Diaconate Ordination of Carlos Vieira and Miguel Quissola
Carlos and Miguel from Angola, members of the General Delegation of Portugal, made their perpetual profession last October 12, 2014 at the Montfort parish of Póvoa de Santo Adrião (Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish), in Lisbon, before the Delegation Superior, P. Carlos Augusto Fernandes. On November 30, 2014 they were ordained deacons by Bishop Manuel Clemente Macário, Patriarch of Lisbon, in the parish of Santa Maria de Belen (Jeronimos Monastery) in Lisbon. After the celebrations, the parish community of Póvoa de Santo Adrião prepared a time for sharing.
The Montfortians of Portugal, with the relatives and friends of the professed, participated with much joy and jubilation in these two decisive events in the life of Carlos and Miguel. The total consecration of their lives to Christ in the Company of Mary and the diaconate ordination are signs of their trust in God who continues to do wonders among us His children.
