BATAAN, Philippines - On November 11, 2017, the SMM Philippine Delegation Center of Spirituality in cooperation with the Montfort Totus Tuus Journey has successfully organized the 27th Montfortian pilgrimage to the Diocese of Balanga, Province of Bataan with the theme: Living and Sharing Jesus Christ through Mary. It was actively participated by the Montfortian Communities: Collegians, Postulancy, Scholasticate, Santa Teresita Parish, TTJ Lay Associates and friends. There were two buses that served for the transportation of 140 pilgrims.

The pilgrimage started at 5:00 in the morning with an opening prayer inside the bus. The Eucharistic celebration was held at the church of Orion, St. Michael the Archangel Parish. The other churches and shrine visited were: Mt. Samat National Shrine in Pillar, Bataan, Cathedral Parish Shrine of St. Joseph Balanga, Bataan, Parish of St. Dominic de Guzman, Abucay, Bataan, and Parish of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, Orani, Bataan.

The pilgrimage had culminated at the Beso Manto of the Virgin Mary, beside the Orani church, and the closing prayer was held. Fr. Federick B. Yumang, SMM, gave his words of gratitude to all who have contributed to the success of the pilgrimage and all the participants.

Fr. Richard J. Magararu, SMM, together with the Montfortian priests present gave the final blessing. Everyone felt deep joy in their hearts during the pilgrimage and have shared their grace-filled experiences inside the bus while travelling back to their respective homes. It was indeed a heartfelt encounter with the Lord Jesus, Incarnate Wisdom, through Mary, Queen of All Hearts. Glory To Jesus in Mary! Glory To God Alone!
