Totus Tuus Journey Launching in Kinatarcan Island
KINATARCAN ISLAND, Philippines - On April 15, 2018, the Montfort Center of Spirituality together with the Cebu Mission Community and Postulancy Community had successfully launched for the first time in Kinatarcan Island, Sta. Fe, Cebu the Totus Tuus Journey. It marked the start of the 33-Day preparation for the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary, according to St. Louis-Marie de Montfort. It was attended by 40 participants.
The launching started with a Eucharistic Celebration which was presided by Fr. Federick B. Yumang, SMM, the National Director of the AMQAH, Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts, Philippines, with Fr. Rene S. Bustillo, SMM, the Postulancy Director and Fr. Gener Pito, SMM, assistant formator of the Postulants. After the Holy Mass, Fr. Federick gave the introduction and orientation of the entire process and followed by the first session. A sumptuous meal which was prepared by the community was shared by everyone at the end of the session. The participants were inspired and have expressed how they are determined to continue attending the rest of the sessions and be able to consecrate themselves to Jesus through Mary.
