Living Out the Consecration to Jesus through Mary
PHILIPPINES - Six months after their Consecration to Jesus through Mary according to the teaching of St. Louis-Marie de Montfort, the parishioners of San Guillermo Parish in Dalaguete, Cebu had their meeting with Fr. Rene S. Bustillo, SMM, Fr. Federick B. Yumang, SMM and Bro. Reynaldo Silverio, SMM to finalize their regular deepening session on the Consecration to Jesus through Mary last March 12, 2019.
It was agreed upon that the members of the Cebu Mission Team, together with the Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts (AMQAH) Lay Associates will facilitate their deepening sessions on Montfortian Spirituality and the living out of the consecration to Jesus through Mary. The deepening session will be held every last Thursday of the month in their parish at 6 o’clock in the evening. During the meeting, the newly consecrated were given the chance to share to the group the effects of the consecration in their daily lives. Listening to them on how the consecration changed their outlook in life and their self-awareness in relating with other people was very enriching. Last April 26, 2019, Fr. Rene, together with the AMQAH associates facilitated the deepening session on Montfortian Spirituality.
Likewise, Rev. Fr. Paul Arnel L. Lucero, SMM also facilitated the ongoing formation and deepening session for the Totus Tuus Journey (TTJ) facilitators from the AMQAH Lay Associates and the TTJers last April 28, 2019 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The session was held at the Montfort Center of Spirituality in Quezon City. The theme was “Mary in the Bible” and it will be an ongoing formation to be held every fourth Sunday of the month.
