May Flower Celebration in Honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary

QUEZON CITY, Philippines - The Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts celebrated the May Flower event in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary on May 4, 2024, at the chapel of Mary Queen of All Hearts, Montfort Center of Spirituality. The celebration commenced at 8:30 a.m. with the praying of the Most Holy Rosary, led by the children, followed by the offering of flowers to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Attendees included the Associates of the Montfort Missionaries (AMM), Legion of Mary (LOM), members of Totus Tuus Journey Philippines (TTJers), and the children's parents.

The celebration proceeded with the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Rev. Fr. Richard J. MAGARARU, SMM, a Filipino Montfort missionary currently assigned in the United Kingdom, who was visiting the Philippines for his vacation. In his homily, Fr. Richard shared with the children the history and significance of the Holy Eucharist in the lives of Christians. He emphasized the teachings and personal experiences of St. Louis-Marie de Montfort concerning the Holy Rosary and its connection to his devotion to the Holy Mother of our Lord.

After the Mass, the children enjoyed a sumptuous lunch and received a rosary and a comic book on the life of Father de Montfort as souvenirs. In the evening, the associates gathered in the quadrangle of the Montfort Center of Spirituality for a fellowship event. Friends and family came to support the activity, which was a humble effort to support small businesses while raising funds for the association's activities and contributing to the ongoing construction of the first parish church in honor of St. Louis-Marie de Montfort in the Philippines.

It was an inspiring experience for everyone, drawn from the lessons from the movie, the creativity and passion of the young entrepreneurs, and the loving support of all who participated in the event, all for the Glory of God Alone.
