Relic of Father de Montfort in Portugal

MONTFORT-SUR-MEU, France – On 19^th August 2022, the feast of Saint John Eudes, the relic of Father de Montfort arrived in Portugal. Through Father Marco PASINATO, SMM and following his request to the confreres of the Birth house, the relic of our holy Founder was sent to the confreres of Portugal.

Father Delfim received it on this feast day of the Saint who was the promoter of the propagation of the cult of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and who was, at the same time, the founder of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary (Eudists) and of the Order of Our Lady of Charity.

This gesture has been made within the framework of 350 years of the birth of Father de Montfort.

May the holy Founder, Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort, accompany you in your mission under the maternal gaze of the Virgin Mary so that the hearts of all people may unite with those of Jesus and Mary.
