Book Presentation
LEUVEN, Belgium - Five years ago our most famous confrere Fr. Phil Bosmans died at the age of 85. He was the founder of a.o. the BZN (Association With no Name), writer of many books translated in more than 20 languages and well-known for his quotes. He was born in a small village Meeuwen-Gruitrode and in honour of their well-beloved inhabitant several projects were set up: a museum in their recently acquired castle, a theatre-monologue and the publication of a book. A whole team of researchers (an archivist, a historian…) studied his files and books which resulted in a well-documented play and book. This book, Improve the World, was presented in Leuven on 4th October 2017. The author refuses to call it a biography because that would imply that it is all over and out while it would be more in line with Fr. Phil’s message to be an open book, to inspire and help all people especially the poor. The story goes on…
