Consecration for 18 Montfort Associates

ANTANANARIVO, Madagascar - On December 4, 2022, after a month of preparation, “Montfortian month”, 18 lay people; members of the Associate Marie Reine des Cœurs Antsobolo, joyfully and courageously made their consecration to Jesus through the hands of Mary. The gracious occasion took place at the Immaculate Conception Antsobolo parish where the Montfortians work. The Eucharistic celebration began at 7 am and was presided over by Fr. Bruno RANDRIANASOLO KIKY, SMM, the Superior of the Vice-Province and Fr. Clément RAANDRINIAINA, SMM as the concelebrant.

In his message on this second Sunday of Advent, Fr. Bruno urged all those present, in particular the newly consecrated members, to prepare themselves well to welcome the child Jesus who comes to live among us and to renew more perfectly every day. That was how our brothers and sisters seemed very enthusiastic and happy to do the act of consecration. The gracious occasion was a special joy for them because it was the first time that they pronounced their consecration to the parish in front of all the faithful; a good testimony of being a servant of Jesus through Mary.

The Montfort Associates expressed their gratitude to the Provincial who received their act of consecration and to our priests who heard their confession to prepare them for total consecration according to our Holy Founder Saint Louis Marie de Montfort.
